January 2025 Update

January has been hit with extreme cold and snow several times this month with a high for the month on the 3rd of January of 65 and a low on the 20th of January -20.90. Precipitation is not appearing on the sensor for the snow received. However, the snow received on the 18th provided our area with 5-6 inches of snow. Snow is forecasted for the last weekend of January.

The staff is working on identifying canal gates that need replacing and mowing when it is not snowing or snow covered on the upper canal. Additionally, there are several lines that are being replaced or repaired. The Toyota is not running currently and is waiting for replacement sensors to help get it up and running again. It has been determined with all the repairs over the past two years that it needs to be replaced. A search for a replacement truck is underway. We are considering a good used truck for replacement.

Shareholder notification of our annual shareholders meeting to be held February 22, 2025 were mailed out on January 21, 2025. If you do not receive your notice with in a week to ten days of the 21st, please contact the office as soon as possible and you will be provided with a replacement of material that was originally sent.

It is extremely important to represent your shares at this meeting, either in attendance or via proxy.  Your proxy is the only way we can determine if a quorum is reached in order for the meeting to proceed. Should we not succeed in reaching a quorum, all shareholders that do not have their shares represented either through attendance or via proxy will be charged an additional assessment fee of $5.00 per share.

Based upon the past few days it is highly suggested that coats, scarfs, hat, gloves and snow boots should be the attire when leaving the house.
