Penrose Temperatures for the month of October were highs
in the 70’s and lows in the 30’s.
Precipitation was nearly non-existent with a .03 for the
month. However, the water in the creek hasn’t slowed down much. We still have
just under 15 c.f.s coming into the diversion. This is more than we normally
have this time of year. The ditch riders are soliciting shareholders to take
water. Understandably most of the shareholders have already put the pipes up
for the winter. Those shareholders that are interested in taking water should
contact their ditch rider at this time.
The Board of Directors is working with the Board of Directors
of Penrose Water District to finalize a water contract. Hoping they all can
come to an agreement soon.
The office staff is working on the next Annual Meeting
documents. The next annual meeting is scheduled for the last Saturday of February.
