November was dry until the end of the month when we received
4-6 inches of heavy wet snow. Hopefully the snow will continue throughout the
winter months. Brush Hollow Reservoir is currently at 90 ft. which stabilizes
our ability to provide water to Penrose Water District during the winter. We
are still receiving water from Beaver Creek at the current rate of 6 cfs which
will supply the domestic daily water usage. These are all favorable factors to
end the year.
Tom Sanders and one ditch rider will be doing the winter
repairs and ditch maintenance for the next several months. Several projects
have been designated for completion prior to the 2014 irrigation season.
We have several outstanding assessment balances that are in jeopardy
of becoming eligible for auction at our next annual shareholders meeting in
February. Any delinquent assessments that have not been paid in two years will
be considered abandoned and be put up for auction. The shareholders will be
notified and given an opportunity to bring the delinquent accounts current or
given the opportunity to prepare a payment plan to be approved by the Board of
Directors prior to the annual meeting. It is not the desire of Beaver Park
Water, Inc. to put shares up for auction; however it is not fair to the other
shareholders that pay their assessments on time every year to continue to carry
these outstanding amounts. The delinquent amounts are in excess of $20,000.
We have begun the holiday season with Thanksgiving behind
us. As a reminder – Beaver Park Water, Inc. water office will be closed the 24th
and 25th of December as well at the 1st day of 2014.
HAPPY
HOLIDAYS!
