January Update
The month of January brought us much needed moisture in the
form of SNOW. We were all delighted to see the white stuff even if we had to
endure some cold temperatures.
Avalanche completed the K Street project. With the exception
of asphalt work that will be completed when the weather allows. The staff was
busy coordinating efforts with Avalanche by delivering the pipe and crusher
fines, valves, fittings and hauling away any debris. Four new cement delivery boxes were also
installed. The staff is currently working on putting in elbows, gates and weir
windows to make them operational. Two boxes are being reworked in order to
function with the new 12 inch pipe.
Reminder
the Annual Shareholders meeting will be held at 1:00 pm at the Penrose
Elementary School on Saturday February 23rd 2013. It is most
important that you attend in order to establish a quorum. Unless we are able to
do so, no business can be transacted. If you are not able to attend, please
fill out the Proxy you received and designate a proxy agent and return to
Beaver Park Water Office as soon as possible. Penalties may be imposed if a quorum can’t be established.
