First Irrigations Finished-Starting Seconds

With the much needed monsoon rains on Beaver Creek this month, we have been able to finish first irrigations and are now starting on second irrigations. Please be aware that this present water on Beaver Creek is not just day by day, but literally hour by hour with very low head flow rates. If you are irrigating when the creek drops, your irrigation will also stop. If we have an increase in the creek flow, your head pressure will also increase. We understand that these are trying conditions to irrigate with and are doing everything in our power to control fluctuations in the system.

As I am posting this morning our creek flow has gone from 17cfs to 10cfs.

Bvr Crk at Cemetary: Beaver Creek measured at the Wildlife Area on Upper Beaver Creek.

Bvr Crk at Diversion: You will only see amounts here if we are not able to capture all that is coming down the creek as in a high runoff year, a heavy rain event or when we are doing repairs on certain parts of the system.
L St: Beaver Creek after it has been diverted at the Diversion Dam. This is the water that is physically in Penrose for irrigation and domestic purposes.
