The month of November was definitely the beginning of
winter temperatures with very little moisture received here in Penrose. Most
day time temperatures were in the 40’s and 50’s with a few days of highs in the
60’s. Night time lows dipped down to single digits, as low as 4 on one night.
The staff continued to work on winter projects throughout
the system. The box at the school received a new gate. Wilson Excavating is to begin work on the
upper canal the first week of December replacing the canal lining. This project
is being financed with the Grant Money we received from CWCB.
Mark your calendars. The Annual shareholders meeting will
be held Saturday February 23rd at the Penrose Elementary School
starting a 1:00 pm. Notices will be sent out to each shareholder in January
along with the proxy voting document.
With a New Year beginning please make sure we have on
file your correct mailing addresses and contact numbers. We need these numbers
to contact you for irrigation scheduling.

Requirements -Reliable vehicle with insurance coverage and a valid
CO driver license. Successfully pass employment physical and drug screen.
Qualifications – High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, Understand and apply basic
math, Ability to work independently and schedule distribution of water. Respond
to emergencies within 20 minutes. Previous experience in related field desired.
