Brush Hollow Reservoir – Volunteer
Clean-up Day sponsored by Colorado Parks and Wildlife
Saturday 9:00 am 6/20/2020 – (Meet at the Boat Ramp)
Brush
Hollow Reservoir serves many purposes from water storage for Penrose Water
District providing domestic water to Penrose residents, Irrigation water
providing irrigations to the shareholders of Beaver Park Water and a
Recreational Area under the management of Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Colorado
Parks and Wildlife stocks a variety of fish that offers good fishing with
minimal amenities.
During
the State wide imposed COVID-19 orders, Brush Hollow Reservoir has become a
popular local recreational site. Unfortunately, some of the visitors have not
followed park rules and regulations, leaving Brush Hollow Reservoir in very sad
condition.
Colorado
Parks and Wildlife management team is asking for volunteers to help pick-up
trash and general clean-up.
ANY AND ALL ASSISTANCE IN THIS EFFORT
WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
