November Update

November was a very uneventful month, with the exception of the Thanksgiving Holiday; we all look forward to each year to spend time with family and friends.


The weather in Penrose was also very uneventful. The only recorded precipitation received was on the 10th with recording of .01 on the Ag Met site.

The staff is preparing for the K street project to begin. By all indications it will be December before work begins. In the interim, all the ditches are being cleaned, seedling trees are being removed from the sides of the ditches and any debris is being loaded and hauled off.

As of November 15th water from Skaguay has been reduced as the State water systems are in winter storage. Due to the extreme drought classification we have been in and the lack of precipitation this fall, it is going to be a long winter for the vegetation. Please pray for significant snow fall this winter!

The Holiday Season has arrived, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and don’t forget Cyber Monday. The Board of Directors and Staff of Beaver Park Water Inc. wishes all the Shareholders and the Community of Penrose a safe and joyous celebratory season.

*******As a reminder, those of you who have outstanding assessments; the interest is being added to your delinquent balance monthly. It is important to pay your share; we must be able to pay for the approved budgeted items that continuously keep the operations of the system going. ********

Looking Ahead- 2013- Beaver Park Water Irrigation will have two open seats on the Board of Directors to be filled at the annual Shareholders meeting. Tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Penrose Elementary School Gymnasium. All shareholders will be receiving complete information regarding the Annual Shareholders Meeting 30 days prior to the meeting. This announcement is just a “Heads Up”!!!
