Typically, this month I review our Annual Meeting information, however due to the current events, this is the most important changes you should be aware of. Due to Gary Ratkovich’s retirement a new Board member was elected. After the Board Meeting of March 10th; the following changes have occurred on the Board of Directors. Sonny Daniels-President, Jack Tyler-Vice President, Justin Jenkins – Secretary/Treasurer, Tim Hall – Board Member and newly elected Board member is Bart Adams.
Beaver Park Water, Inc. and the World we live in was suddenly impacted by the COVID-19 Virus that changed how we interact with one another. Beaver Park Water is classified as a critical infrastructure as we provide water to Penrose Water District and also provide water to our shareholders for agricultural crops. We are still working! However, the changes that are in place are providing a safe work environment for our staff and our shareholders. This change includes practicing social distancing by preventing access to our office. All payments may be submitted by using the mail slot in our door or mailing payment to either our PO BOX 286 or 209 Broadway location. Any other matters, such as leasing water can be processed by contacting our office at 372-3664. These protocols will remain in place until we are provided information that lets us know we are able to return to normal business practices.
Staff has continuously been busy at work cleaning the canals, cutting tree growth on the canals, repairing delivery boxes, repairing or replacing irrigation gates, keeping screens cleaned all in efforts for providing a smooth transition to 2020’s irrigation season.
We are pleased to announce that there have been no changes in staff this year. The following is a list of staff and their delivery locations and contact numbers:

As announced at the annual shareholders meeting held in February, irrigation water deliveries will begin where deliveries stopped last year. Your ditch rider has this information and will be managing the scheduling of deliveries using this information. If you have changed your contact numbers, please call the office as soon as possible. If your ditch rider does not have your number, they are unable to schedule irrigation. Any irrigation water concerns that you are unable to resolve with the ditch rider, please contact Connie the Superintendent at 371-4312.
