As everyone should be aware we suffered through a severe drought last year and unfortunately we were unable to refill Brush Hollow as full as we would have liked to. When we started irrigations Brush Hollow was 10 feet lower than last year. We have yet to receive a significant increase in the creek flow and daily the creek flow fluctuates up and down. Based on the information we have received regarding snow melt, we may not see much of an increase in the creek flow as much of the ice has melted on Skaquay Reservoir. As always we are at the mercy of what Mother Nature provides for us. Pray for the spring rains.

As a reminder if you have not paid your assessments, your ditch rider will not contact you for water and you will not be put on the schedule. If you have paid and not been contacted and you see water in your area, please contact your ditch rider for information.

It is important for all shareholders to know two things regarding owning shares in Beaver Park Water Inc.
1.      You do NOT pay for water, we are not a utility. Your assessments pay for the operational costs to run Beaver Park Water. The advantage of owning shares is when water is available you are entitled to receive irrigation water at the rate of seven hours and 20 minutes per share. The key word is AVAILABLE. If we have a good water year, it can be possible to receive irrigations up to 4 times in the irrigation season.
2.      Beaver Park Water, Inc. only receives water from the south side of Pikes Peak in form of snow melt and rain. That is it. What comes down Beaver Creek to our diversion is ours for domestic use by Penrose Water District and Brush Hollow. Brush Hollow has 500 AF of storage space for PWD they paid for and we are obligated to keep water in the reservoir for CPW fish pool. After accessing the amounts to satisfy those named usages, this is what determines what water is available for irrigation water.
