July 2022 Updates

HOT! Describes the temperatures for the month with the AG Met sensor reading in the upper 80’s and a high of 99. However, we were able to receive some well-deserved moisture this month recording a total of 1.49 inches of rain that graced our dry landscape. The current Drought Monitor shows Fremont County as abnormally dry at this time. Weather forecasts are calling for more rain the final days of the month.

With the heat, the creek ran low average of 7 c.f.s. with a few days of increased levels due to rain storms in the area. Second irrigations are slow and steady with each Ditch rider delivering one head of water each. Occasionally, due to increases in the creek we have increased the heads of water being distributed, but it only lasts for a day or two. At this rate of distribution, we may or may not be able to provide all shareholders with a second irrigation but we are making every effort to get water to as many shareholders as possible. All the water for irrigation is coming from the upper canal and being transferred down the lines for deliveries. Please do not mistake this water for pumping as it has been allocated to a designated shareholder. No pumping is permitted at this time.

Please be advised that all assessments are due and payable by August 1st. Accounts with outstanding balances will not be eligible to receive irrigation water and will not be on the schedule for delivery. You will not be notified by your ditch rider of your un-paid status. This will be your responsibility. Should water be in your line and your account is not in good standing, the water will move on to the next available shareholder. Should you pay your assessments at a later date, your name will be added to the schedule but depending on where the water is at that time, there is no guarantee when we will be able to get water to you.  Please remember assessments do not pay for water, it is for the operational costs of running Beaver Park Water. Your assessments keep the company viable.

Please continue to pray for rain and keep your umbrella handy.
