As
originally suspected, due to the recent significant drop in the creek, we had
no choice but to temporarily suspend irrigations. The rains of late July and
early August helped provide enough water to allow us to begin second
irrigations, however the rain chances have stopped and are no longer providing
the increased levels in creek. For the first time in 8 years, 100% of Colorado
has been designated as abnormally dry or in drought conditions with extreme or
severe conditions in many areas.
