July Update
July has been a typical month, hot during the days with
afternoon/evening rain showers. The AG MET sensor in Penrose has recorded 1.5
inches of precipitation for the month. Temperatures have been in the 80’s and
90’s. The ditch riders have almost completed the 2nd irrigations for
the season. Some lines are a little behind but we are on schedule to begin
deliveries of the 3rd irrigations the beginning of August.
REMINDER TO SHAREHOLDERS THAT HAVE ELECTED TO PAY THEIR
ASSESSMENTS IN TWO PARTS – The second half is due and payable by August 1st.
Accounts with open balances will not be eligible for irrigations. Ditch riders will not put those un-paid
shareholders on the irrigation schedule. Statements have been sent out the
beginning of July and you will not receive a reminder prior to August 1st. It is your responsibility to keep your
account in good standing. For those shareholders who find it difficult to pay
assessments, please consider making monthly payments. The paid amounts will be
held in credit status until the next assessments are entered in the system. The
assessments are entered into the system following the Shareholders Annual
meeting held the last Saturday of February. Statements are sent out the first
week of March due and payable by April 1st of every year.
Another reminder…our Board of Directors meets monthly every
2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm at the office at 209 Broadway.
(Meeting dates are on the outside window at the office). Shareholders are
encouraged to come. Towards the end of the meeting an open forum is held for
shareholders to ask questions or concerns regarding Beaver Park Water. If you
would like to be put on the Agenda, please contact the office at 372-3664 and
you will be listed on the meeting Agenda under new business. Many shareholders
wait until the Annual Meeting to address concerns, however many questions can
be addressed at a monthly meeting.
